* Friday night dinner is NOT provided. You are welcome to bring food to cookout. We strongly encourage that you NOT keep or eat food in your cabin because it attracts critters. CAMP CLASSEN is blessed to still have its original stone cabins from 1941. They have been renovated and now feature central heat and air conditioning as well as a restroom and sink. Most cabins do not have showers. Instead, in the camp tradition, most cabins share a men's and women's central shower house. Cabins have bunk beds only. No furniture or kitchen facilities are provided, and you will need to bring your own bedding.
Two or more families can share cabins provided there are enough beds. Most sleep up to 10, a few sleep up to 12, and two of our cabins will accommodate 14. If you will be requesting a cabin of 12 or 14, you may want to have a plan ready if those cabins have already been booked. For example: booking 2 cabins instead of one and knowing which families will request to bunk together in each of those two cabins.
If you are registering to share a cabin with another family, you must put their Family name (the one they are giving us on their registration form) along with the expected number attending with their family. They must also fill in your registered family name along with how many will be coming with your family. If they have already submitted their registration form without your name, you will need to ask them to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request your family to share the cabin so that we have something in writing from both families. Without mutual requests we cannot guarantee arrangements.
PRICING (BASED ON OCCUPANCY)
Your fee covers all of your scheduled activities, 5 meals, a horseback ride and your accommodations. Children under the age of 6 and or children who cannot maintain appropriate balance in their saddle will require a parent to walk next to them on the trail ride for safety. We are unable to staff a wrangler for each child who needs this assistance.
In general the following activities are staffed for family camp: Archery, Riflery, Skeet Shooting, Geocaching, Horseback Riding, Waterfront, Warren Mountain Guided Hike, Rock Climbing, Boating, Carnival, and Campfire. Other self led activities include fishing and hiking. Be sure to bring your own Fishing gear, Frisbees etc...
Horseback riding tickets will be provided to you upon check in according to the number of reservations made below. We will make every effort to provide a "pony ride" for all children age 4 and under in your family. Horseback Riding tickets will be available to families at check-in and will be the only activity in which each family member will need a ticket. Trail rides will be offered on Saturday and each ticket will have a ride time. You will choose your ride time with our Wrangler staff during check-in and it will be on a first come/first serve basis as to what times are available for you to choose.
We will make every effort to provide any children under 6 with a pony ride, but this is not always guaranteed.
