Mon. – Thurs. – 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Fri. – 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sat. – 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Sun. – 2 to 4 p.m.
Before & After School Care
Our program provides care before and after school for kids ages 5 to 12 years old. Kids are given the opportunity to express their individual talents in a safe and well supervised atmosphere. The entire experience is built around activities that challenge kids to accept and demonstrate the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Care is offered at Fogarty Elementary and Charter Oak Elementary schools, beginning at 6:30 a.m. before school and until 6 p.m. after school. Transportation from Cotteral, Central and GUES to Fogarty is provided.
Summer Day Camp
The Y’s Summer Day Camp is held Monday through Friday and provides kids ages 5-12 years old supervised activities that foster youth development. We focus on honesty, caring, respect and responsibility in all of our fun-filled activities. We allow for physical involvement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth and creativity in everything we do. The Y’s core values are emphasized throughout activities, conversations and ceremonies.
Camp is held at Guthrie Public School sites and broken into two groups, ages 5-7 years old and 8-12 years old. Campers visit the Highland Park Pool twice a week and take a field trip once a week.
YMCA Thunder Basketball
Our sports program provides children with opportunities to learn specific skills in a supportive environment. They are conducted with an emphasis on positive personal growth and we balance the development of physical skills with other important aspects of sports including leadership, teamwork and cooperation.
YMCA Thunder Basketball is played in Guthrie Public School basketball gyms. Games are held on Saturday mornings at Charter Oak Elementary for 8u and at the Junior High gym for 9u.
We offer more than 30 group exercise classes weekly, from early morning to evening classes. These classes range from strength and cardio conditioning to senior fitness. Check out the class schedule.
