Group exercise classes at the Y offer something for everyone, no matter your fitness level. From cardio to yoga, our expert instructors guide you in a supportive environment to help you reach your goals.

Boot Camp

This class mixes traditional calisthenic and bodyweight exercises with interval training and strength training designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they’d push themselves. May be held indoor or outdoor depending on the weather and instructor.

Cardio Toning

This class includes exercises that alternate between floor and step aerobics and incorporates the handheld weighted ball and/or the body fusion ball. The toning portion of the class uses a variety of weighted equipment for a full-body workout that focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility.

Cycle

A series of cycling drills that include strength, endurance, and interval zones to create a great cardiovascular workout at your own pace.

FitCrew

This premier program with 3 classes a week of variable-intensity interval training (VIIT) program is led by a certified personal trainer. Participants will get a complete workout by rotating through high-, medium-, and low-intensity phases each class. Whether their goal is to lose a few pounds or improve posture and balance, there’s a place for everyone in FitCrew.

Hip Hop Cardio

Take your workout to a fun new level by combining hip hop dance moves with current mainstream music.

MASHUP

Variable-intensity interval training that combines mind/body, agility and strength, and high-intensity intervals for three different fitness levels in every workout. Experience a different full-body workout with motivating music every time!

MOSSA Group Power®

MOSSA Group Power® is a full-body strength training hour that makes you muscle strong and movement strong! Using an adjustable barbell, plates, and your body weight, you’ll experience a full-body workout while listening to tracks that pump up your energy and make every rep as fun as it is effective. Group Power is adjustable for all fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned group exercise fanatic or working out as a family, MOSSA provides the perfect workout for you.

MOSSA Group Ride®

MOSSA Group Power® is a fantastic way to improve your cardio fitness, burn calories, and shape and strengthen your lower body. An inspiring soundtrack will be the wind at your back as you roll over hills, conquer mountains, and fly through flats, and you control the intensity, making this a perfect path for new exercisers or avid cyclists.

Muscle Conditioning

Strengthen, tone, and define your body using a variety of equipment. A great class for those looking for a challenge and to push themselves to the next level of fitness.

Pilates

A series of fluid floor work exercises designed to develop core strength and sculpt your body. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.

SilverSneakers Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living using light hand weights or tubing. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Tabata

Boot camp/circuit training/HIIT (high-intensity interval training) style of boot camp that helps boost metabolism, promotes healthy weight loss, and muscle gain. The class may be held indoors or outdoors, depending on weather and instructor preference.

Tai Chi

A continuous series of controlled, usually slow movements designed to improve physical and mental well-being.

Water Aerobics

Combine a light to moderate aerobic workout with exercises in the shallow and deep water to help increase endurance, core strength, and flexibility. There is limited use of equipment.

Yoga

Yoga is a practice of mind and body exercises that emphasize flexibility, muscular strength, endurance, breathing, balance, and relaxation. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.

Zumba®

Perfect for everyone and everybody! Zumba® is designed to bring people together! We take the “work” out of a workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

Zumba® Gold

Based on the same dance moves used in the original Zumba® class. The class, however, is less intense, with dance routines designed for beginners and older adults using modified movements.
