Member Update
4.22.20
With Governor Stitt’s announcement on April 22 regarding the reopening of our great state, he authorized fitness facilities to open as early as Friday, May 1. While we miss our members and program participants, we are taking time to finalize our plans to ensure a safe and healthy environment when we reopen. We are working diligently and will continue to communicate our plans with you well in advance.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in the Y during this critical time. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
KEEPING AN ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Your monthly membership draft is crucial in enabling us to pivot our Y facilities to meet a critical need in our communities. We are providing emergency childcare for children of essential personnel and first responders so that they can continue their focus on public health.
- Membership fees are the foundation of the YMCA’s work and allow us to provide services to those that need us the most. While our facilities are closed, we would like you to consider continuing with your membership payments, as it will be used to continue to support our mission.
The Y was founded as a volunteer organization and we are appreciative of those asking how they can help us respond to community needs. With our branches closed, we are now shifting our work to support critical, local needs.
Members who continue to pay their monthly membership dues are helping us to provide critical services and be prepared to reopen when we are given the green light.
Members, please join us in supporting one of the most critical community needs of providing childcare for healthcare professionals, first-responders, public utility employees and other essential personnel.
