Back in the mid-2000s Aaron Sorkin produced a dramedy starring Bradley Whitford, Matthew Perry, Amand Peet, and several other talented actors and actresses. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip only lasted a season but there is a scene in its pilot episode that enters my mind from time to time. Standing in the hallway, Jordan (played by Peet), the new president of the fictitious NBS, is speaking with her boss, Jack (played by Wings alum Steven Weber), and Jack says to her, “Go ahead Jordan, make us classy, we’ve been waiting for you.”
