The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is more than a gym.
The Y place where health, development, community and adventure happen. We offer programs, services and solutions to address the most complex and critical needs of the Oklahoma City metro area.
Our 2021 Impact:
As the world attempted to return to normalcy, the Y focused on doing what we do best: supporting families in our communities. We partnered with community partners to provide safe, healthy spaces for individuals and families across the Greater Oklahoma City area.
During the time of virtual learning and returning to the classroom, we saw 14,000 kids visit the Y over 80,000 times during school hours and 31,000 times during after school hours.
Throughout the year, the Y served 247,668 meals and snacks to the 5,236 children who were in our care.
Utilizing carefully curated precautions, we provided 14,477 kids a safe and fun youth sports experience through 12 different sports.
A splashing 7,777 Oklahoma residents learned to swim and be safe in and around the water.
Down in the Arbuckles, 6,404 kids, students, teachers and conference attendees experienced the beauty of nature at YMCA Camp Classen.
More than 23,684 traveling military members and their families enjoyed a relaxing environment at the Military Welcome Center located at Will Rogers World Airport.
