Over the past few weeks, we have explored the Christian mission through the history of the YMCA. Reading through The Shining Light: The Man, Mission, and Movement of the YMCA by Dr. David Newman, we learned the call of Christ on George Williams’ life and how the YMCA was birthed from that call.  

Today, we continue our journey through the history of the YMCA and will hear stories about YMCA leaders like Oswald Chambers, John Mott, KT Paul, and even the inventor of the Basketball, James Naismith.
