Raquel Samaniego (Rehab Technician/Patient Access Specialist)

Raquel graduated in 2019 from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.S. in Kinesiology: Exercise/Fitness Management and has been with Integris Health for three years. Raquel decided to work at Integris Jim Thorpe to prepare for a future as a physical therapist.

Matthew Mead PT, DPT (Physical Therapist)

Matt is a native Oklahoman from Purcell, OK. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he received his B.S. in Health and Exercise Science. He then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Langston University. Matt is skilled with patients of all ages and diagnosis but loves to train post-op orthopedics and the athletic population, progressing them through the return-to-sport phase. He also enjoys spending time with friends, his dog Bodhi, working out, and traveling.

Micah Adams PT, DPT, CIDN (Physical Therapist)

Micah graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and later went on to attend physical therapy school at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston. After completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) education, Micah returned to Oklahoma where he has been practicing since 2015. Micah has been with Integris Health for over four years and is skilled in rehabilitation of orthopedic surgeries ranging from rotator cuff repairs to ACL reconstructions. His focus is on orthopedic manual therapy and is also a provider of blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy and is dry needling certified.

The clinicians are able to see patients through Direct Access (based on insurance) without a referral. Individuals with a referral can call 405 945 4500 to schedule an evaluation. They also accept walk-ins to schedule evaluation appointments.

You do not need to be a YMCA member to use a Jim Thorpe Rehab Clinic at a YMCA. The benefit for both YMCA members and non-members is having a physical therapy clinic at a convenient location with access to the YMCA facility and equipment.
