Our program is led by experienced and dedicated school-based staff, ensuring your child is safe, supported, and well cared for in our before and after school programs.
Staff requirements:
All staff must undergo background screening and a 3-hour employee orientation before starting. Throughout the year, staff will also complete 20 hours of program training, monthly in-service training, and participate in monthly staff meetings. All staff are required to be CPR/First Aid and AED certified.
Our executive director of youth and family and program directors have a combined 150+ years of child care experience!
We offer full-day care for children ages six weeks to five years. We provide children a developmentally appropriate environment that caters to their social and emotional development, cognitive awareness, literacy and self-help skills.

The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City’s Before and After School Program provides a safe and nurturing environment. Through engaging activities, academic support, and character-building opportunities, we help children succeed in school and beyond.
For children enrolled in elementary school.
School Day Out Care is offered during select holidays and provides a safe, fun, and engaging space for children during school breaks, giving busy parents a reliable childcare option when school is out.
For ages 5-12.
Kids discover not only the wonders of day camp but also the joy of exploring unique traits, talents and interests, and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group.
Summer Day Camp registration opens February 2025.
