Let’s talk about why it is important to have a vision for your life. Vision is committing to achieving what could be, and not settling for what is or was. When I talk about vision, I am not talking about what do you want to be when you grow up, which is usually translated, what type of job do you want. I’m talking about something different. A vision is what gives purpose to our lives. Our vision vocalizes our identity and gives us direction. Vision can give meaning to life. When you have a vision for your life, you can unequivocally state where you are you going.
The old proverb says, “where there is no vision, you get out of control.” For a lot of people when you ask why they feel out of control, feel lost, stagnant, etc, it’s because they either do not have vision or they have lost sight of their vision.
In this episode, Joe shares his journey and resources he used to find his vision in transition.
