Is parking available?
Parking is available at the Arts District Public Parking Garage and there is limited street parking available on Park Ave and Harvey Ave.

We have various positions open across our association.

How do I reserve an interview spot?

What should I wear to the event?
Casual attire is welcome but we recommend wearing professional or business casual attire.

Yesica has been involved with the Y since 2014. She started out volunteering for us, which eventually led to paid positions as a camp counselor, site coordinator, and eventually a program director. The YMCA has played a significant role in both Yesica's personal and professional growth, providing her with opportunities and necessary tools for developing her leadership skills. She plans to continue her journey with the Y to explore new avenues and achieve new milestones.

Chris' YMCA staff journey began as a soccer official as a sophomore in high school. During college and grad school, he served as the sports coordinator at the Rankin YMCA. He now serves as the district executive director for the Edmond YMCAs (Rankin, Mitch Park, and Guthrie, plus a new Y opening in 2026!). Throughout his time with the YMCA, Chris has been able to work with great leaders, develop as a leader through various opportunities, including conference attendance, training events, and community stakeholder conversations. Over his 24-year career at the Y, Chris has held the roles of sports official, field supervisor, day camp counselor, member services coordinator, sports coordinator, sports director, associate executive director, executive director, and district executive director. He is grateful for each and every opportunity a career with the Y has given him and his family.

In early 2018, during her freshman year of college at Oklahoma State University, Emily Nelson began serving at the Stillwater YMCA as a lifeguard and soon took on the role of head swim teach coach and swim instructor. During her senior year, she served as a member services associate while continuing to coach the Y's youth developmental swim team. Upon graduation in 2021, she accepted the role of aquatics director for the Edward L. Gaylord Downtown YMCA in Oklahoma City. About a year later, she accepted the role of associate director of human resources at the Association Office. She will celebrate 3 years in HR in May and 4 years full-time with the Y on June 1. Emily's career with the Y allows her to fulfill her passion of serving others and while providing her with opportunities to make a lasting impact on the communities the Y serves.
