ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS
The Y supports active older adults while providing programs that give an extra edge to good health. The Y offers a variety of opportunities and activities including exercise, wellness programs, community service, day trips, meals, health fairs, screenings and special interest classes.
PACER Fitness Center was founded in 1978 by a group of local cardiologists who were eager to change the direction of fitness. As a result, PACER (Prevention of Atherosclerosis and Coronary Artery Disease through Exercise and Rehabilitation) became the United States’ first hospital-based fitness center. MORE INFO
