YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City

In Oklahoma, 1 in 4 children struggles with food insecurity on a daily basis. Since 2012, the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City has worked in partnership with local supporters and community leaders to address this need by providing consistent, nutritious meals and snacks. Our Year-Round Food Program operates as a collective effort between the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma City Housing Authority, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, six public school districts, private funders, staff and volunteers.

As we add new sites each year, our goals for meals and children served increases as well. This past year, we served more than 131,840 meals and snacks.
