YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City

Since 1956, Stillwater has turned to the YMCA for activities and programs that nurture youth, encourage healthy living and foster social responsibility. From preschoolers to active adults, the Y has been a touchstone for thousands of residents over the years.

As we look to the future of Stillwater, we know that we can do more. We can be better located. We can partner and share facilities with other entities, allowing all of us to be of greater service while also being good stewards of the resources we’ve been given. At the same time, the Stillwater community is reimagining its downtown. “Vibrant Stillwater” is an ongoing effort to create a thriving district for all who live and work there.

Currently, we are exploring partnerships with Stillwater Public Schools, Oklahoma State University, the City of Stillwater, healthcare systems and others to create a new YMCA facility that would include:

  • A state-of-the-art Aquatics Center that could be home to the High School Swim Team, as well as offer therapeutic aquatic programs, swim lessons and recreational swimming
  • Health and wellness facilities for programs and activities that support physical and mental well-being
  • Gymnasium and sports fields for youth sports, day camp and more
  • Childcare
  • Job experience opportunities for OSU students

Current budget projections are $33,000,000 for this modern and accessible 56,000 square foot facility. Through the amazing investment and partnership from those who believe in the future of Stillwater, we only need to raise $6,000,000 to make this vision become reality.
